Energy Policy

As Erciyes Kireç Factory of Kireç ve Tuğla Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. we are committed to continuously improving energy performance across all our operations and to ensuring that our activities remain environmentally and economically sustainable. In fulfilment of this commitment, we undertake to: 

• Comply with all applicable national and international energy legislation, standards and other requirements for which we are responsible,

• Use energy and natural resources efficiently across all our production processes, and continuously improve our energy performance through energy audits, efficiency studies and improvement projects,

• Monitor technological developments and evaluate alternative energy sources that minimise adverse environmental impacts,

• Use energy and natural resources efficiently in alignment with sustainable development principles, and conduct effective and transparent initiatives to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions,

• Promote energy awareness among our employees, suppliers, customers and stakeholders across the organisation;

• Minimise energy losses and maximise the recovery and utilisation of waste gases and waste heat,

• Give preference to energy-efficient technologies and practices when procuring equipment and services for facility improvements and new investment activities,

• Integrate the documented Energy Management System into corporate governance practices, and review and improve it against defined objectives at regular intervals.
